Arsenal winger Theo Walcott admits he cannot wait to get back to Asia.

The Gunners are set to return to the Far East with this year’s pre-season tour of Malaysia, China and Hong Kong just a week away and Walcott is excited about seeing the passionate Asian fans of the North London club.

“The fans were unreal. I could hear them chanting our names every morning , they would call for different players and see if they would come out and look over the balcony. It was fantastic,” he told Arsenal Player.

“[The Asian culture] is very different. They are so helpful, very happy, very generous. It was one of those experiences you need to see it for yourself.

“We went there last year and we’re doing it again, and I am looking forward to every moment of it.”

Lineker questions whether or not FA will take action on Chelsea’s Terry | Premiership News | Tribal Football

Former Tottenham and Barcelona striker Gary Lineker has posed a question to the Football Association relating to the acquittal of John Terry.

Former Tottenham and Barcelona striker Gary Lineker has posed a question to the Football Association relating to the acquittal of John Terry.

The Chelsea captain was today cleared by the Westminster Magistrates’ Court of any wrongdoing in regard to a racially aggravated public offence order for alleged racist remarks directed at QPR’s Anton Ferdinand.

The FA will now conclude their own case regarding Terry and Lineker suggests if they will throw the book at him like they did with Liverpool’s Luis Suarez who received an eight-match ban for alleged racial abuse toward Manchester United’s Patrice Evra last season.

“John Terry found not guilty. Wonder if the FA will take any action given similarities to the Suarez affair,” he posted on Twitter.

New York Red Bulls GM Erik Soler says the visa application for Luke Rodgers is now in the system.

The former Notts County forward is anxious to return to the Red Bulls after a spell with Lillestrom.

“We’ve done our paper work,” he said. “It’s somewhere in the paper mill. We don’t know exactly where it is. Until we get a clear feedback, I can only repeat myself.

“We’re evaluating that situation all the time, of course.

“We know that a lot of other options would close down [if we wait too long], so it’s something we have to, within the next week or something, think how seriously of how long we can wait.”
